Martini Dry Chartering GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2005 in order to establish a chartering outfit for the bulk tonnage of F. Laeisz. At present the company handles 7 dry cargo bulkcarriers exclusively ranging from 70.000 to 322.000 tons deadweight. The professional and experienced chartering team follows up the competitive, as well as the FFA market, in order to respond to the needs of its customers without delay.

In 2006 Martini Dry established an earnings pool for Panmax vessels in order to enhance the results of its members. The pool is focussed on global trading of both owned and chartered tonnage.

Since 2007 Martini Dry is handling the chartering of eight 5.000 units PCTC which have been ordered by F. Laeisz at the yard of the Yangfan group in Zhoushan. The MV Paganella (CSAV Rio Illapel) has been delivered on 15th October, 2009 and the MV Paganino (CSAV Rio Itata) has been delivered on 15th November, 2009. Both have already been chartered on a long term base to CSAV / Chile. The next pair of new buildings will be available in fall 2010.
